How our 3% for Good fund supports critical work in sustainability, diversity & inclusion

Our grant funding supports frontline charities

WorkWild has always given three per cent of its turnover to activities that address climate change and the wealth gap – the two critical problems Sara founded WorkWild to address. WorkWild’s charitable giving has supported research to help the UK address the climate crisis, helping to build lifeboats and rescue training centres and supporting the provision of affordable workspaces to social and creative entrepreneurs.

This year support for charities and the work they do has been hugely pressured and we are pleased to share news of an expanded giving programme to some incredible organisations tackling climate change and social injustice:

  • akt support lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the uk who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment.
  • Atlantic Pacific provide lifeboats where there are none and there is more information about their work and how we’ve been involved in this story
  • Black Minds Matter connect Black individuals and families with free mental health services — by professional Black therapists to support their mental health.
  • Centre for Alternative Technology offer practical solutions and hands-on learning to help create a zero carbon world.
  • East End Women’s Museum record, share and celebrate stories of East London women. It is currently the only dedicated women’s museum in England.
  • Elatt  inspires people to achieve the skills they need to flourish in life and work through training and development programmes
  • Extinction Rebellion is an international movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience in an attempt to halt mass extinction and minimise the risk of social collapse.
  • Woodland Trust plant trees and protect forests to combat climate change andcreate havens for people and wildlife in the UK
